The Women’s XI played their third home match of the season against Bradford Park Avenue Ladies CC. Batting first, captain Sophie Jacobson (20 off 20) and Emma Swift (13 from 23) were the standout batters, but unfortunately the team were bowled out for 57.

With the ball, Chads took an early wicket, caught by Hannah Keys off Sophie’s bowling. Sarah Carmody then had another batter caught by Shama Sharif, but the batting lineup from the opposition was too strong on this occasion, winning by eight wickets. These two teams will play again this coming Sunday, this time over in Bradford.
