At home against Old Leodiensians CC, the 2nd XI were looking to get back to winning ways after coming up against a strong Beckwithshaw side last week. The visiting team got to 28 before losing their first wickets, and from there, it was all Chads thanks to captain Adam Livingston. Adam bowled 12.1 overs, taking an astonishing nine wickets for 42 runs as Chads bowled out the opposition for just 63.

There were a couple of early wickets that may have given the opposition a small glimmer of hope, but Mohammed Ishaw (21 from 34) and some power hitting from Nazmul Hasan (35 from 16) saw Chads record an important eight wicket win thanks to Adam’s incredible opening spell and Nazmul's big hitting.
