The club are looking for additional scorers for all our senior and junior teams and our leagues have asked us to promote the opportunities available to those interested in umpiring.

The ECB have introductory courses available for both scoring and umpiring. There is no cost for any of these courses.

The scorers course is a perfect start for those who may be interested in scoring for one of our senior teams this season, or junior parents who would like to score whilst watching their son/daughter play.

Our scorers receive up to £30 per senior game. Most of our scoring is now done digitally on a laptop, tablet or phone, so the kids (and some of the adults) will pick it up in no time. Those who want to score in a traditional scorebook, are more than welcome to.

The umpires course is ideal for all senior players and junior parents who may be called upon to help out during games. If you are interested in umpiring, our weekend senior leagues are looking for additional umpires who receive up to £40 per game, more if on their own. Umpires in our midweek evening senior leagues receive up to £25.
