We are proud to join clubs and organisations across the UK in observing National Inclusion Week 2025 (15th to 21st September). This year’s theme, Now is the Time, aligns with our long-standing commitment to making cricket accessible, welcoming, and meaningful for everyone in our community.
What inclusion means to our club
Inclusion at St Chad’s Broomfield is not seasonal publicity - it is central to who we are. Our club’s purpose is to create a safe, supportive space where people of all ages, genders, backgrounds, and abilities can play, learn, volunteer, and belong. We aim to remove practical barriers, challenge unhelpful attitudes, and build a culture where every voice matters.
Programmes and practical action
Voices from our club
We are shaped by people who turn policy into practice. Club coaches, volunteers, parents, and players share real experiences every week - from a first session that built a child’s confidence to volunteers adapting sessions so everyone can take part. These stories drive our progress and remind us why inclusive cricket matters.
Leadership message
Our Management Committee affirms that Now is the Time to embed inclusion in everything we do. We are committed to continuing investment in coaching, facilities, and partnerships that expand who can play and volunteer at the club.
