We are the only amateur cricket club in Headingley, with over 140 years of history and 20 senior and junior teams, playing both at the weekend and midweek. Join us now!

Recruitment for the 2026 season is already underway, and we are looking for new players of all standards and ages for the following teams:

• 4 Saturday senior league teams (champions in 2010, 2015, 2020, 2023, 2024 and 2025)
• A Sunday league team (used to introduce juniors into senior cricket)
• 4 midweek evening senior league teams (champions in 2014, 2015 and 2020)
• 2 women's league teams (celebrating our 10th season) playing both hard ball and soft ball cricket (cup winners in 2024 and 2025)
• A senior friendly team playing at the weekend and midweek
• 5 junior teams at various age groups starting from 5 years old
• A girls' team playing in both a league and festivals
• A new disability team playing table cricket and other adapted formats of the game

...and if you want to play all year round you can play for one of our indoor league teams in the autumn and winter! No other cricket club in the area can provide cricket for such a wide variety of standards and ages, all year round.

Not only do we have consistent on field success (40 trophies in the last 20 seasons), but we also have a social scene that is second to none. What more would you want from a cricket club? What about a £300,000 investment in our facilities, including the building of a new modern pavilion. There really is no better time to get involved.

As well as new players, we are also looking for new volunteers and sponsors.
