We are the only amateur cricket club in Headingley, with over 140 years of history and 20 senior and junior teams, playing both at the weekend and midweek. Join us now!

We are looking for new players of all standards and ages for the following teams:

• 4 Saturday senior league teams (champions in 2010, 2015, 2020 and 2023)
• A Sunday league team (used to introduce juniors into senior cricket)
• 4 midweek evening senior league teams (champions in 2014, 2015 and 2020)
• 2 women's league teams playing both hard ball and soft ball cricket
• A senior friendly team playing at the weekend and midweek
• Junior teams at various age groups starting from 5 years old
• A new girls' team playing in both a league and festivals

.....and if you want to play all year round you can play for one of our four indoor league teams (champions in 2020 and 2023) in the autumn and winter! No other cricket club in the area can provide cricket for such a wide variety of standards and ages, all year round.

Not only do we have consistent on field success (30 trophies in the last 20 seasons), but we also have a social scene that is second to none. What more would you want from a cricket club? What about a visit to our nets by England and Yorkshire player Jonny Bairstow (see the videos section) or us hosting the first outdoor game of the year in January! Yes, really!

With a £300,000 investment in our facilities close to completion, including the building of a new modern pavilion, there really is no better time to get involved.

Seniors

Firstly, thank you for your interest in joining the club. Great decision, and you would be more than welcome.

As a club with several weekend and midweek senior league teams, we are sure we will find at least one that suits you. We also have plenty of social events throughout the year.

Our indoor training runs from January and is on both midweek evenings and Sunday afternoons, at both the Indoor Cricket Centre at Headingley (LS6 3BR) and Horsforth School (LS18 5RF). We also have a club indoor league which runs from October at Leeds City Academy (LS6 2LG). This ensures our members have the opportunity to play cricket all year round.

Our outdoor training runs from April and is on both Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, at our main ground on Otley Road in Headingley (LS16 5JT), where we will make use of the facilities in our new £300,000 pavilion.

Membership starts from less than £1 per week. We also offer several benefits as part of your membership. These include no charge for any indoor or outdoor training sessions, up to £24 discount off club clothing, and access to free or discounted Yorkshire and England tickets.

Women

As a club with women and girls of all ages and standards, we are sure you will enjoy both training and playing in the games. We also have plenty of social events throughout the year.

Our indoor training runs from January and is on both midweek evenings and Sunday afternoons, at both the Indoor Cricket Centre at Headingley (LS6 3BR) and Horsforth School (LS18 5RF).
