Fantasy Chads is officially back for the 2026 season, and it’s time to start assembling your dream team ahead of the opening weekend of qualifying games on Saturday 16th May. Whether you’re a seasoned selector or a first time manager, this year’s edition promises more strategy, more competition, and more chances to win.

Player Values for 2026

Over 100 players, registered to represent St Chad’s Broomfield CC in senior cricket or women’s league cricket have been assigned a value for the new season. These valuations are based on a combination of factors:

2025 performances across all formats
Number of appearances and consistency of selection
Which teams they played for and the standard of cricket
Projected potential for 2026, including form, and availability

With 45 new players joining the club this year, the player pool is deeper than ever. Expect hidden gems, breakout candidates, and a few bargain picks that could define your season.

Where Points Are Scored

Fantasy points will be awarded in all league and cup fixtures for all four of our Saturday teams, our Sunday XI, and both our Women's teams.

This means every weekend offers opportunities to climb the leaderboard, and every selection decision matters.

Unlimited Free Transfers Until the Deadline

You can register now, build your squad, and make unlimited free transfers right up until 12pm on Saturday 16th May.

Use this window to experiment, scout early-season form, and fine tune your XI before the first ball is bowled. After the deadline, normal transfer rules will apply.

To keep the competition lively from May to September, prizes will be awarded for:

Overall Winner – the ultimate Fantasy Chads champion
Overall Runner Up – still earns recognition and reward
Monthly Winners – perfect for those who hit form mid-season or enjoy a late surge
