With only 46 days of the season remaining, our teams have several big games ahead of them.
In the P&DCL, the 1st XI remain unbeaten and sit top of their league with 7 games to play, although they're only a few points clear of Frickley Colliery, who have a game in hand, but they have us to play next Saturday, and third-placed Ferrybridge Power Station the week after. The 2nd XI also have 7 games to play, and although another promotion looks on the cards, chasing down Knottingley Town will be the target, starting this Saturday when the table toppers visit Chads.
In the DCCL, the 3rd XI needs a run of wins to avoid relegation. Hopefully this will start on Saturday at Tong Park Esholt. As in previous seasons, the 4th XI continues to enjoy their cricket.
After winning the Archer Cup (more to come on this later) the Women's 1st XI have some big games ahead in their push for the league title, whilst the Women's 2nd XI still have a few games remaining in the Development League.
The T20 team have a Promotion Play-off at Headingley Bramhope this evening and Chad Power have qualified for their Play-offs, giving them a chance to reach the Last Man Stands National Finals.
Our U11s and U9s have both started their fixtures in the Leeds Late Summer League which runs through to early September.
With the cafe open, and something on every midweek evening, Saturday and most Sundays, come down and support our teams before we reach the end of the season.
