Award Winners 2025

St Chad's Broomfield CC23 Oct - 00:00

Congratulations to all!

On Saturday evening, the St Chad’s Broomfield Cricket Club community came together for our Annual Presentation Evening, held once again at the elegant Castle Grove venue in Headingley. The event was again well-attended, a testament to the strength of our membership and the growing sense of unity across the Club.

The evening was a celebration not just of cricketing achievement, but of camaraderie, progress, and pride in what we’ve built, and are building, together. From juniors to veterans, players, families, and supporters, the room was filled with familiar faces and new friends, all sharing stories from the season and enjoying the chance to connect off the pitch.

Guests were treated to a delicious meal in a beautifully set dining room, with the warm atmosphere enhanced by laughter, shared memories, and a few well-earned drinks. Huge thanks go to the organisers whose tireless efforts ensured every detail was spot on.

After dinner, Club Chairman Paul Berry took to the microphone to reflect on the 2025 season and look ahead to 2026. He congratulated everyone for their achievements, acknowledged the hard work of volunteers, the resilience of our teams, and the diversity and inclusive spirit that continues to define our Club.

Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for, the presentation of trophies. From batting brilliance to bowling breakthroughs, from rising stars to unsung heroes, each winner was cheered with genuine appreciation.

As we look ahead to 2026, the Annual Presentation Evening reminded us of what makes St Chad’s Broomfield CC special: not just the cricket, but the people. Here’s to another year of progress, pride, and playing the game we love.
